Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy-based drama The Magicians (2015-present). For the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played the 13-year old Lebanese American young girl Jasira who experiences a whirlwind of emotions within the context of the U.S. invasion in Iraq during the Gulf War. She was subsequently named one of Variety's Top 10 Actors to Watch for 2007. She was in 2009 when she portrayed the strong Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film.
